Erika Casajoana works with Charney Research as a senior consultant.
She has over 10 years of experience in political management, strategic
communications and international affairs. Erika graduated from Columbia
University’s School of International and Public Affairs with
a Master’s in International Affairs, and holds a Master’s
in European Studies and a law degree from the Autonomous University
of Barcelona.
Erika honed her skills in political survey analysis and qualitative
research with stints at two of the top research firms in Washington,
Lake Snell Perry & Associates and Ipsos U.S. Public Affairs.
She has served as Senior Associate at the public relations and public
affairs multinational Burson-Marsteller; as Director of Europe at
First International Resources, a political communications firm in
Fort Lee, New Jersey; and as advisor to the
successful 1999 reelection campaign of the president of Catalonia,
Mr. Jordi Pujol.
Erika is a regular columnist in the opinion section of Spanish
newspaper . She also contributes articles on political consulting
to the Latin American political website
and publishes on international affairs in other Spanish newspapers.
She was a contributor to the Encyclopedia of Nationalism, edited
by Alexander J. Motyl. In addition to her native Catalan and Spanish,
she speaks impeccable English and excellent German and French.
